Checking suspicious conversions

Written by Olga

If you have doubts about the quality of the conversions you have received, you can report them for analysis.

How to report suspicious conversions

  1. Prepare a list of CPA tags (click_id) of the suspicious conversions. You can get them in Statistics → Conversion details.

  2. Click the chat icon in the bottom right corner of the screen — the support window will open.

  3. Write a message describing the problem and paste the CPA tags of the suspicious conversions — each one on a new line.

  4. Send the message — a support manager will analyse it and reply to you in the same chat.

Where to find CPA tags (click_id)

  1. In the side menu go to Statistics → Conversion details.

  2. Set the period and filters you need (campaign, conversion type, campaign group, audience).

  3. The table shows the full list of conversions with their data: conversion time, delay, campaign, material ID, click_id, type, cost and status.

  4. Identify the suspicious conversions (for example, an abnormally short delay, repeating Remote UIDs, conversions from unusual geos).

  5. Copy the values from the click_id column for the rows you need.

What to include in your request

To make the analysis as fast as possible, we recommend that you specify:

  • click_id (CPA tags) of the suspicious conversions — each on a new line;

  • the campaign ID the conversions belong to;

  • the period in which the suspicious conversions were found;

  • the reason for suspicion — for example: conversions that are too fast, repeating IPs, no activity on the landing page, geo mismatch.

Conversion statuses

In the conversion details table every conversion has a status:

  • Confirmed — the conversion is accepted and counted in the statistics;

  • On hold — the conversion is waiting for confirmation;

  • Rejected — the conversion is rejected (duplicate, fraud, expired period, etc.).
